Pit Bull Terrier - Large - Young - Female - Dog - Noodle
Description
Noodle is a wonderful girl looking for a new home. She is a little more than a year old, housebroken and gets along well with smaller, passive dogs. She does NOT like cats and is very vocal about that. Noodle is not much of a jogging partner but she walks well on leash. Just don't expect her to run unless she's chasing a buddy. :) She knows sit and stay VERY well. Noodle likes stuffed animals but doesn't bother anything that's not hers. The perfect Pit Bull, Noodle is an awesome, protective family dog. She doesn't chew things that don't belong to her and she LOVES the resident three year old in her foster home. As seen above, she even lets him "pluck" her eyebrows. Tolerant and sweet of everything he can come up with to try out on her :). Noodle is frequently his pillow when he's napping and the subject of many of his great ideas including spraying her with the hose and "painting" her entire body with paint rollers. Noodle's past life was not what it should have been. She was abused and neglected and while she does NOT hold a grudge against people, she does have some quirks. She's extremely fearful of our automatic waterbowl. She needs time to meet new people and occasionally will bolt out an open door. Breed exerience is perferred. Noodle is vaccinated, microchipped, spayed and free of all parasites. Her adoption fee is $200. Important things to know before you contact us:The email address youre using is only managed by one person, Michelle. Please be patient with her.The application is the first step. After we receive and approve a completed application, we will schedule a time to meet.Take Paws is run from foster homes. We have no facility for the public to come in and view pets. First approving applications and then scheduling meet ups is the only way for us to operate. Home visits are not as scary as they sound. We dont check for dust or dirt, we just answer questions about the dog/cat and observe their behavior in your home.We do not accept owner surrender pets. All of our rescues are pulled from Jackson County Animal Control and are extremely urgent. We have this policy in place to ensure room for pets that would otherwise be euthanized or sold to research.
